Rene Schmidt, aka DJ Capo, has been a key figure in the European house music scene since 1991. With a passion for beats that transcend borders, he has developed a distinctive sound that spans from Funk to Deluxe, with a special love for Big Room House, Beach House, and Tech House.

Holding residencies in both Spain and Ireland, Rene Schmidt has spent years honing his craft. Between 2004 and 2009, he refined his skills on the NUMARK PRO DJ, blending technical precision with an instinct for what moves a crowd. This mastery led to the creation of the iconic “Magic Sounds of Deep” compilations from 1995 to 2001, which are now staples in the underground electronic music scene.

Rene Schmidt’s impact extends across Europe, with standout performances at Istanbul’s S-Club and Jungle 8, where he consistently left dance floors energized and buzzing. His residencies at PACHA Torrevieja and Supper Club Istanbul have solidified his reputation as a DJ who can captivate any audience. At PACHA, his sets have become synonymous with unforgettable nights, while at Supper Club, he pushes the boundaries of sound, making each set a unique experience.
