Born and raised on the electrifying sounds of rock and roll and R&B, Rob’s musical journey took a pivotal turn in the 1980s when he discovered the burgeoning world of electronic music. The futuristic allure of electro and synthwave, combined with the pioneering works of legends like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, ignited a passion in Rob that would shape his musical career. As the free festival and illegal rave scene exploded, Rob found his calling, diving headfirst into the vibrant underground culture where energy and electronic soundscapes collided.

Rob’s natural progression led him to collect records, which soon evolved into spinning them at intimate gatherings with friends. In the early 2000s, Rob, alongside Nick C and Chrissie Trip, co-founded the renowned club night ‘Perception’ in Portsmouth, a hub for true underground sounds. Despite taking breaks from the scene due to work and family commitments, Rob’s love for music never waned. Now, with his trusty 1200s back in action, he’s returned as a vinyl-only DJ, curating sets that reflect his deep connection to the acid house movement and its underground ethos.

Rob’s sets are a journey through the depths of electronic music, ranging from chilled-out electronica and soulful beats to deep house and techno. You won’t catch him playing anything commercial—Rob is dedicated to delivering pure, unfiltered underground sounds, staying true to the spirit of acid house.
